Program Details
This certificate provides students with a solid introduction to Italian language skills and culture. Completion of the certificate benefits students who are interested in learning about and effectively interacting with Italian culture and society. Students take the required language courses in the given sequence and choose an elective.

- Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to communicate in the Italian language at the Intermediate High level of ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages).
- Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to demonstrate awareness and appreciation of cultural differences within Italian speaking communities.
